PCSX2 is for suckers.

PCSX2 is a PS2 simulator for people to download if they wish to play their PS2 games on their computer. I let my younger sister borrow my PS2 over her Winter Break and during that time I really had the urge to play a game on it. 

So, I found this site and let me tell you, if you need help with ANYTHING, don't hold your breath. The moderators are snobby jerks who think they're gods on earth and instead of help you, they will insult you and accuse you of misdeeds! The nerve!! I own both the PS2 and the game I wanted to play and they accuse me of theft? They're the ones that put the tool out there for people who do not have the equipment legally to use, not me.

So anyways, they are terrible people, PCSX2 doesn't work that well anyways (seriously, it's much more worth it to just buy myself another PS2 than fight with these idiots). 

And to top it off, yes they offer their tool for free, but they want donations? Certainly not! Not for customer service like that.

I will never deal with them again, and I suggest you do not either.

HipLink Software Lies To it's Customers

We are a major retail corp. and HipLink provided us a messangin software to integrate with a back end system called code alert provided by RF Technologies that was a nightmare in itself from what their "President" bat and switched us and tried to blame it on the representative after he left, typical corporate move. 

They also claim/ed they have 24 hour support,which we paid extra for but when I called in no one was there and turns out their man support engineer left,along with the representative that managed our account and a few other people within a month. In the end, our problems have not been resolved and we are lookimng for another solution that can handle a more Enterprise Level Service.

GOODLIFE is a THIEF!

I have to let someone know that I have never had someone steal from me and actually acknowledge that they did and tell me that there isn't anything that they could do about it.
I joined the gym in Sept 2009, the year that I decided to go back to school after 7 years to do something that I've always wanted to do. Become a teacher. I knew that it was going to be tough to make time for it especially with a busy year of teacher's college and on a tight budget since I wasn't going to be working. But I made a careful budget decision and knew that I had to be dedicated and do things for me. 

So sometime in Jan/Feb, I went to the bodyjam class and rolled over my ankle. It wasn't fun. Because the goodlife that I usually went to was located in the basement, I had to climb up a flight of stairs to get home. I wasn't sure if was broken or not at the time but it sure hurt. A lot.
Sure enough I woke up the next day with the fattest bruised ankle that I've ever seen. I could barely walk on it. When I went to the doctors he told me that I had sprained it and when I inquired about the gym he said I wouldn't be able to go for a very long time. 

It wasn't the happiest of time cause the weather wasn't so great and practicing teaching and going to school at the same time was hard.

In July, I felt better enough to head back to the gym. When I got there I had inquired about the lost time and the girl at the desk said that I should have asked the gym to have held my membership since my ankle was sprained. It occurred to me then why didn't someone tell me about it 6 months ago when I was stumbling out of the gym. I was a little upset at this point. The girl said the manager wasn't in but I could call some number she gave me to see what they could do.
So I talked to someone over the phone about what had happened. They said that they couldn't do anything about it cause I didn't say anything at the time that it had happened. Really, I wondered, that isn't very nice. So over the phone, I said that after my year with goodlife which was to end in september I would no longer be coming back and that I would like to cancel my membership.

I went in once after and was so disappointed with the service that I couldn't even bother to stay. I told myself I made a poor decision and just to forget about this whole experience. 

But wait... day before new years eve and I get a bbm from my friend that my membership was under and she's telling me that I owe her some money cause goodlife has been taking it out under my name. WHAT? You would think, cause I cancelled my membership already how could this be?

I call the 1-800 number and they tell me that there is no record of my call, tells me the membership is cancelled but there isn't anything she can do cause she doesn't have a record and that I would need to call my home store. I call the home store, the manager is busy, I explain the situation to the girl who answers. She tells me that the manager will have to call me back.
I wait.. about an hour.

Manager calls me back.

I explain to her the situation but there isn't anything she can do except refund me the months that I missed from my injury as long as I get a doctor's note.

Fine.. that's nice..

But the three months that I wasn't a member at goodlife, I still have to pay because there is no record of my phone call. Someone clearly dropped the ball on this one and I have to pay for it...
What is a goodlife? For me it was about a frustrated and stressful time. Goodlife didn't give me a healthier, happier life. Getting fit wasn't fun, it wasn't easy or affordable. I really do feel like goodlife stole from me, acknowledge that goodlife did and that there isn't anything goodlife could do about it.

Caffe latte w/ EXPIRED Soy

I sent the following email to Starbucks Head Office on Monday Dec 20th, have not yet received a response.
"Hi,
I want to report on an incident I had this past Saturday Dec 18th 2010. I purchased a grande caffe latte with soy from the Starbucks inside Indigo at Yorkdale Mall. I felt really sick just minutes after, and threw up 10 times, when I was at the mall. I almost had to go to the hospital b/c of dehydration. The soy was definitely expired. I've had this drink over 100 times before and this is the first time it happened. I suggest you please check the expiry dates on your products before serving them to customers!!!"

Favorites Catalog is not a Favorite

I ordered Christmas gifts on December 6 from Catalog Favorites, with written promised delivery between 5 and 9 days. On the 10th day, having received no package, I tracked the package and discovered that Fed Ex was promising delivery by December 27!!! What good does this do me? Obviously, the seller does not communicate with either its customers or FEd Ex, or both. When I called the catalog company they said they could not help me but I could return the items when they are finally delivered, and they offered to refund my shipping costs. This is not a mere slip up of package getting lost; this is their pattern.

You are FINED for Number Porting

Strange the way it is... No matter how you go. Bell charges you disconnection fees for number porting by other carrier. If you ask Bell to cancell, you will definitely not get that number and your number will be gone before its ported. Bell dont take advance notice from the other provided you are trying to switch to.
Very annoying!!! even when you are in no contractual obligations.
I would never ever go with Bell. Enough of my loyalty shown to them over the past 10 years

Sympatico!!! I have got to get a better server!!

I have to watch my language? When I'm talking about sympatico.ca?

I'd go to videotron today if I didn't have such a good package deal, but OTOH, is it a good package if a chunk of it is next to useless?

The latest: When I first joined up, years ago, I was given free personal web space. I connected to it with Ipswitch FTP and got support for it when I ran into trouble the first time I used it. Then I let the site go fallow for 3-4 years. Now I try to use it, and can't! I can connect, I can see the site, but cannot make any changes. I call support--they WON'T help me, claiming that the web space was just a freebie. What do they mean, I don't pay for it?! It was part of the package when I signed up for sympatico! 

These people are utterly useless! I can never get anyone who can help me with anything!

I worked for Tyco, who's warehouse is run by DB Schenker and is staffed with temps by ITS. I put in a good 3 1/2 months work for them and they jerked me around for my last week of pay. Not only are they rude, they are cheap, spiteful and incompetent. DON'T WORK FOR THEM, THEY PAY LOUSY AND WILL JERK YOU AROUND!

Browns Valley MN , tiny town, Fresh Subs made while you wait. Fresh is not quite the word I would use. Manager made my sub with rotten roast beef and moldy cheese! When I refused to pay for sub Manager got in my face and said your lucky I made you the sub in the first place, my deli worker didnt show up today and this took extra time out of my busy day! Dont return to my store until your prepared to pay for this sub first.
