www.proudshopper.com is bad business and terrible customer service!

On May 1, 2010 I purchased two flags from www.proudshopper.com, and their confirmation email stated that it may take up to three weeks to be delivered.

Three weeks?!?!? OK, so I wait three weeks, no, actually 3 1/2 weeks, then write www.proudshopper.com asking me where my flags were, and stating that if they haven't shipped them already, then to cancel the order! I wasn't the nicest in my email, but then again, I was NOT a happy customer, and www.proudshopper.com had not followed through with their promise, nor had they contacted me in any way to tell me there was a delay!
So, this is what the idiot from www.proudshopper.com, named Ron, wrote me back:
"Only one 2'x3' flag was in stock. (Only a few of this particular flag
are sold per YEAR!) A fresh shipment arrived today. Your order would
have shipped tomorrow and you would have had it by Friday. But, I'm GLAD
to cancel the order of someone with such a pissy-ass attitude! A refund
and banishment it is!

This is why there will soon be a $25 minimum order in effect. Shitty
little orders likes yours cause, by far, the most problems. Piss off and
don't come back! Get your shit from China.

So, what kind of customer service is that?!?!? I would suggest that anyone thinking about shopping at "proud"shopper.com, DO NOT shop there!!! You're wasting your time!!! Bad company! Bad, no TERRIBLE customer service!!!!!

They debited my credit card the same day I placed my order. Cannot find a phone number. Notified BBB today. Don't know end result yet.

  6. Placed order 11-10-2011 never hear anything and after 3wk statred email's and never got anywhere. Don't try the phone because they don'e respond to the message you leave. The 4th e*mail went out to check on my order 12-10-11 and told them i want my order with in 24 hrs or cancell it. Ron wrote back on my e-mail and called me a bithch and singed his name Someone needs to find a way to shut them down. I wish I had found this sight first I would never had order anything from them.

After waiting my delevery time I started to write email after email and FINALY I got a respounce from that same ASSHOLE Ron saying "The belt buckle might be out of stock you ordered"(I had ordered a tie too)"Just give me a tie and a refund on the belt buckle then" I write back,his refund "I'll do a full refund" That was a couple weeks ago,well where the hell is it?!I was on the internet looking for a phone number (yes saw that "Soup Nazi" reference how they'll tell you to F*** OFF if you bother them,to bad.I'm going to tell Mr.Ron to F*** OFF everyday email wise so it's the first thing he see's EVERY DAY when he arrives at work and turns on his p.c.(my goal)The order was only $23 either I'm going to get my refund or hassle him SO MUCH it will drive him to get another email address

I'm the writter of the above complaint.Since writting it I've found out I can/going to do two things #1 Just became the ULTIMATE "Soup Nazi"by first telling Mr.Ron to F*** OFF then to tell him of this site and his track record over the past couple months (good to know I'm not the only one he's ripped off I guess)#2 Going to my bank tomorrow,they will give me a refund by filling out a few forms and they will take it from there on what's this guy's problem.(I printed our emails and this page too to show the bank)*NOW THINGS FOR THE REST OF YOU IF YOU WANT to* #1 Go to your bank and do the same as I did #2 Email Mr.Ron again with this page attached to it too.AND (the semi tittle of a song buy a band call The Smiths)"Soup Nazis Of The World,UNITE And Take Over!"   10. I ordered a comforter and it has been two months and multiple e-mails. I still haven't received my merchandise and he billed the credit card right away. Ron replied to an e-mail twice and said it would be another week. Nothing yet and I have not obtained a refund..... Do not order from this company!!!!!!!

  11. I purchased an item, my card was charged immediately on March 17, 2012.
    I have waited 4+ weeks for delivery.
    I have placed two emails several day apart asking for an update on the order.
    Receive only Autoresponses, no answers!
    I have placed the same order with 1ABC Confederate Store today and will be glad to update this page with the results on who wins the delivery race. Since our Self Proclaimed Soup Nazi has had 4 weeks headstart it should be a snap for him? If the other guy wins, I will have my credit card charge by Proud shopper cancelled immediately, or Ron can process a refund if he is unable to complete the order.
    Companies need to both fill orders and have decent customer service to stay in business. Get with the program and lose the attitude, you are the one making the customers angry because of your poor contact response and lack of business management.

    1. Why is this guy still in business? Most states have a section of the Attorney General Office, as part of the "Consumer Protection Division Unit", to deal with "problem businesses practices". I have not purchased anything but just ask a question and after reading all of this, assuming even half is accurate, I'll not do business with him.

My previous posts 4/24/2012 & 5/2/2012 on follow ups.I don't know why he is still in business, after I complained to BBB they were immediately on the case, notified me he had been advised of the complaint 5/4/1012 I received an email from proud shopper 5/5/2012 telling me a refund had been made to my credit card. BBB has had 22+ complaints, what does it take to shut down a business. REPORT ABUSES TO BBB Ron apparently doesn't care if you do report his bad service. But if you want your refund, REPORT.

  12. Update as promissed in my April 24th Post. So far after ordering from 1ABC Store they came through like champions and I received the item within 10 days. I have emailed Ron and informed him that I will contact my credit card company and have them reverse the original charge. He advertises lots of products and says aprox 2 weeks delivery. The fact that he thinks customers won't get angry when he doesn't bother to respond is short term thinking. Personaly I intend to send copies of my order, charges, emails and lack of response except for autoresponses to the necessary business control Authorities for his city or state. Hope they do something to motivate him to shape up or close the business down.
    He doesn't deserve your orders. Try 1ABC Store instead.

  13. I wish I had found this site before I ordered my product. I too was duped into thinking this was a legitimate business. I too was charged the day I ordered and 8 weeks later I received my order. Only thing is I did not realize I was to keep checking my usps confirmation number over and over again. When I received it, it stated my order was picked up on May 12th, I assumed (which was wrong) it meant I would have my item within 7 days. I finally got frustrated and sent Proud Shopper and e-mail to grab someone’s attention, and attention I received. From Ron: If you bothered to check your shipping label information, you would see

  14. I have waited almost 7 weeks finally i received my order i did send 4 e mails asking for the product to be sent. I figure they had their money and were in no hurry to send me my goods. we have just gotten use to ordering online and having stuff in a few days. This was more like ordering from the catalogs back in the 70's. Very slow service.

  16. my husband ordered 4 do-rags on 5/26/12 and we are still awaiting delivery. They also hit our bank account same day and we have sent 2 emails with only auto-response. I will be contacting both the BBB and my bank and sending all information i can gather to the atty general in the state of arkansas to keep this guy from taking anyone else's money and only sending product when he feels like it. Customer service is what keeps a company in business and gets repeat customers.....however, this guy will gives no customer service and therefore, gets no repeat business.

    1. I realize that I am replying to a post almost a yr old but yours caught my eye because I too ordered 2 doo-rags almost 4 weeks ago and have yet to receive them. Also my account was debited the same day and after I inquired about my order I also received a rude email from RON! I should've checked BBB before ordering from this crooke because apparently this RON is well known for his rude & crude attitude and lack of customer service. I don't understand how he is still in business after reading all the complaints. This is the reason that I do my internet purchases primarily thru EBAY at least they offer up some protection for this kinda thing! I too have sent emails to Ron have only received the Rude one as a reply after which I too replied with a few things to say of my own. I have a feeling that this is gonna be an uphill battle but I am not letting this go...its now more about the principle of the matter. j

  17. He received my order on 7/28/2012 and charged my credit card on 7/30. I requested a cancellation and refund on 9/2/2012 and got the usual auto reply.
    I also filed a formal complaint with the Consumer Affairs Dept. in Alabama (not Arkansas)and asked them to shut down this rip-off artist.

  18. ProudShopper sucks..I am currently disputing the charges as I never received my order. I wished I had read this before I ordered from this site. Take my advice and take your business elsewhere. You will never see your order but you will see a charge or your credit card. This is site is a total scam and a MAJOR RIP OFF

  19. I ordered some do-rags for my husband for his birthday. It said 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. After 3 weeks Ron informed me 2 of them were not in stock, but they were going to ship the rest of the order. So from order to recieving th order it took a total of 5 weeks. I had no problems with the company or Ron. He was very polite in e-mails to me.

  58. They take months (not kidding) months to reply. If you complain, they curse you out in emails and say you can never buy from them again. Check the BBB and you will see how their customer service works. Still waiting for a refund for an order that was under $30. Never ever buy from this company. Their products are at a good price but who wants to pay for something and then never have it arrive then get cursed for asking for a refund after 2 months? They give the south a bad name.
